　　勒维（达斯汀·霍夫曼 Dustin Hoffman 饰）在不久之前刚刚失去了父亲，这让他和哥哥多克（罗伊·施奈德 Roy Scheider 饰）之间的感情变得更加紧密。某日，勒维邂逅了名为艾尔莎（玛尔特·克勒尔 Marthe Keller 饰）的美丽女孩，瞬间坠入情网的勒维随即向艾尔莎展开了热烈的攻势，很快，两人便走到了一起。
